We are so pleased to announce
we have helped raise over £370,000
for our national charity partner Mind;
at a time when their work is needed more than ever.

Mind is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales and during the Easter and May Bank Holidays we donated £10 for every purchase made, helping raise £160,820 in the process.

We also provided advertising airtime across the nation, helping raise awareness of Mind’s Emergency Appeal during the first lockdown and bringing in donations of £210,000 from members of the public – that’s you!

Following the launch of our new Rollo by Slumberland Collection in the autumn, we are also continuing to donate £10 for every Rollo mattress sold. All of this makes up the total amount raised so far.

Money raised for the Emergency Appeal helped Mind adapt many of its services to the mental health challenges created by the pandemic. The TV airtime also helped raise awareness of Mind’s vital work, including its coronavirus information hub and its Infoline and Legal Line where members of the public can seek mental health support.

We would like to thank all our customers for their generous support over the past year and we are delighted that by working together we have been able to support Mind during these uncertain times.

There is a very close connection between mental health and sleep. Living with a mental health problem can impact how well you sleep and poor sleep can have a negative effect on your mental health.

In fact, our Sleep Wellness Survey showed that 31% of the nation admit a lack of sleep makes them feel depressed and 30% feel anxious when tired, compared to 45% of Brits feeling less anxious and 43% having more energy and wanting to do more with their day after having a good night’s sleep.

We are Mind

Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling. We believe no-one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We’ll listen, give you support and advice, and fight your corner.

Sleep Wellness™ is so much more than just getting the right amount of sleep each night, it’s about getting the best quality of sleep possible. Through our work with Mind and our sleep expert, Sophie Bostock, our goal is to raise awareness and to educate on the benefits that sleep can have on mental health.

Mind is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales they provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem.
